About

A Chartered Engineer and Director of CORASSURE, Daniel brings extensive expertise in Safety Critical Software, Airborne Electronic Hardware development, and Cyber Security Certification. His focus centres on certifying safety and cyber critical systems across both military and civilian domains. He is recognised for his ability to collaborate effectively with senior military and civilian stakeholders, translating complex technical challenges into clear, actionable insights.

Daniel’s key roles have included serving as Cyber Security Design Authority at Thales UK, Cyber Software Head of Branch at the Military Aviation Authority, and Lead Software and Cyber Security Certification Engineer within the Uncrewed Air Systems Team. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from Cardiff University and an MSc in Software and Systems Security from the University of Oxford.

In addition to his industry leadership, Daniel contributes as a lecturer in Programmable Elements and Cyber Security Airworthiness at the Defence Academy, Shrivenham, and Cranfield University, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the discipline through both strategic leadership and education.
