qualifications
We aspire to continuously work on our own professional development by attending several training courses yearly to maintain our knowledge and expertise. After all, Moore's Law is in play; our technology is constantly evolving, which requires our knowledge to also evolve.
Our CVEs posses at a minimum:
- A Master of Science in an Engineering subject.
- Chartered Engineer status of either the IMechE, BCS or IET.
- A Fellow of a Professional organisation.
experience
We have worked both within Industry and within the UK Ministry of Defence, supporting Civilian and Military Aircraft development and in-service aircraft modifications. Our experiences include, but is not limited to:
- Developing UK Military Regulation and Defence Standards.
- Leading the Software, Hardware and Cyber Security division within the UK MoD Remotely Piloted Air Systems team.
- Providing guidance, leadership and mentorship within the Software, Hardware and Cyber Security Certification division within the MAA.
- Leading SOI Software & Hardware audits for DAL A and DAL B aircraft systems.
- Lecturing at Masters level on the subjects of Safety Critical Software, Hardware and Cyber Security Airworthiness.
- Acting as a Programmable Elements SME for several statutory military Service Inquiries.
- Acting as a CVE (EASA) for a DAL B Programmable Elements (Software, Hardware & Cyber Security) civilian system.
Our Customers
We are an approved supplier with Thales UK and have been working with them for over 24 months whereby we provide Cyber Security Airworthiness, Secure by Design & Software Certification expertise into the business. We are working with several business lines within the UK to help ensure that they remain at the forefront of Cyber Security.
We are an approved supplier into Atkins, supporting them in the Cyber Security division with a focus on Secure by Design, Security Accreditation and Cyber Security Airworthiness.
We provide consultancy services into Aviation Requirements where our consultants act as Independent Technical Evaluation (ITE) experts in the Software, Hardware and Cyber Security Airworthiness domain. We also work closely with them supporting the MOD in the Uncrewed Air Systems (UAS) domain.
